We are hiring for the following positions for March Break Camps: (Press links below for full job description)


Leader I, Camps, Senior Staff

Leader II, Camps, Site Leader

Leader III, Camps (Preschool, Aquatic, Dance, Sports)

Instructor I, Specialty Camps - Sports Pro


Employment period is from March 12-16, 2018

Interviews are tentatively scheduled for November 23 & 25, 2018.

Mandatory Staff Training is tentatively scheduled for March 10, 2018 for Camp Leaders.

Mandatory Staff Training is tentatively scheduled for March 9, 2018 Senior Staff/Site Leader.


Minimum Job Requirements:


The successful candidate must possess a valid Emergency First Aid and CPR B certification by March 1, 2018. The award must be current during the employment period.

The successful candidate must possess a valid HIGH FIVE, Principles of Healthy Child Development by March 1, 2018.

Previous experience working with children is an asset.

Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Records Search, Vulnerable Sector Screening that is acceptable to the City of Mississauga.


Hourly Rate:

The duties and responsibilities of the Leader, Camps are reflected in the hourly rate of pay of $14.14-$20.39.

Staff will be paid on an hourly basis for attending required training or meetings at a Training/Meeting rate of pay of $14.14


Please note: Full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours are dependent on sufficient program registration.
