Under the direction of the Coordinator, Customer Service and Administration & Summer Pool Supervisor, the successful candidate will support the philosophy and policies/procedures of both the Pool and the City of Mississauga.

  • Provide exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Follow and adhere to all Divisional Cash Handling policies/procedures, including site specific procedures, CLASS Business Processes and all City of Mississauga initiatives including marketing, promotion and Two Way Communication Programs.
  • Provide assistance with administrative duties as assigned.
  • Staff must be available to work flexible work hours which may include days, evenings and weekends.
  • Staff may be required to work on Statutory Holidays.
  • Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Records Search that is acceptable to the City of Mississauga.



  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
  • The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal and communication skills for working in a multi-tasking customer service environment.
  • Current Emergency First Aid/CPR ‘B’  or Standard First Aid/CPR C Certification required.
  • Cash Handling Experience is an asset.
  • Computer experience in Work, Excel and CLASS software.
  • Participate in Pre-season in service training in April-June.
  • Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Records Search, Vulnerable Sector Screening that is acceptable to the City of Mississauga.


Employment Period:

  • Part-time hours through June with a regular schedule commencing approximately Sunday, May 27, 2017 through to Sunday, September 2, 2018 (dates will vary between pools).


Hours of Work: Part-time hours


Hourly Rate: $14.28 - $14.97
