    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Reporting to the Coordinator, Event Services the successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and directing theatre patrons, ticket processing and ensuring a safe and enjoyable event experience:

    • Perform a public role by assisting with events, answering inquiries from the public correctly and have a general knowledge of facility services.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Greets event patrons, receives and processes event tickets, distributes programs.
    • Provides directional assistance and responds to general inquiries.
    • Assists with the safety and comfort of event patrons.
    • Performs general maintenance duties.
    • Reads, understands and abides by the City's Divisional Standards, Corporate Policies and Procedures.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    • Essential duties of this position include standing, walking, bending, twisting and lifting.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Enrolled in or graduated from a Secondary School is considered an asset
    • Hold a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate / CPR"B" certification,
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills,
    • Able to work independently as well as with a team
    • Must be able to work flexible/late hours, including weeknights, weekends and holidays.
    • Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Records Search, Vulnerable Sector Screening, which is acceptable to the City of Mississauga.

     

    Hours of Work: Part-time Hours 

    Hourly Rate: $14.21 - $14.32
